Host: No obligation for saying hello or showing you to your table but give $10-$20 for going above the call of duty and getting you a table on a hour wait
Full Service: 15-20%, for those who aren’t math buffs, here in Cali double the tax
Buffet service: 10%
Tipping jars: No obligation but throwing some cash to your local baristas never hurt anybody. Especially if they hooked you up in anyway
Take Out: No obligation for simple orders, but give at least but 10% for extra services or large orders
Delivery: If Delivery fee’s included 10%, if not 10-20% depending on time/friendliness
Bartender: 1-2 per cocktails or 15-20% of the bill
Valet: $2-$5 only if car is moved for you
Restroom Attendant: $1-$3, depending on the services rendered
Doorman: Simple acknowledgement and ”thanks” when he opens the door is a must,$1-$4 for carrying luggage depending on sizes, $1-$2 for hailing cab depending on the difficulty
Housekeeper: $3-$10 per day depending on messiness, left daily with a Thank you note
Concierge: No obligation for answering questions, $5-20 for tickets or dinner reservations depending on trouble to get them
Taxi driver: 15-20% of the fare, but $1 at the least, if they move luggage for you add on an extra $1 a bag
Hair Salon/Barber: 15-20%
Facial, waxing, massage: 15-20%
Cocktailers: $1-$2 per drink.
Blackjack Dealer: $5 chip per session depending on table limit, if you hit big tip big
Poker Dealer: $5 chip per round, if you win big tip big
Furniture: $5 per item per delivery person minimum.
Tattoo Artist – 10% – 20%, depending on the time/complexity of the work.
Piercing Technician – 10%
