If you’ve lived on the west coast for any substantial amount of time chances are someone has preached to you about the mega earthquake, nicknamed “the big one”.
That was until March 11th when the T?hoku earthquake hit Japan causing the hair on the back of everyone’s neck stand straight up, especially us west coasters. This 9.0 earthquake was the 5th largest ever and instantly grabbed the attention of L.A citizens.
After seeing the chaos that was brought down on Japanese cities, those who used to naively boosted how “people we crazy” and thought “that could never happen here” are now singing a different tune.
What would you do if the big one struck here? You see the affect something as simple as people trying to get to work has on traffic; can you imagine 3 million people trying to evacuate the city to avoid disaster? F*@k that.
Are you worried about the “Big One” or is everyone tripping?
