Did you watch the Golden Globes awards? If you missed it, don’t fret!
Here are the highlights: Meryl Streep won best actress in a film drama for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in “Iron Lady“. George Clooney won the best dramatic actor award for his role in “The Descendants”. Michelle Williams won in the category of best actress in a comedy or musical for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn“. Woody Allen won the award for best screen play for his film “Midnight in Paris”. Christopher Plummer won best supporting actor for “Beginners”. Octavia Spencer won Best supporting actress for “The Help“. Steven Spielberg won best animated film for “The Adventures of Tintin”. After The Artist and The Descendents won top honors at the Golden Globes, Hollywood is buzzing about these two films being the front-runners for the Oscar, so make sure to catch those films before Sunday February 26th when the 84th Academy Awards are aired on ABC.
